The Office of Prevention & Education has partnered with invisaWear to help provide a measure of safety for our students.
invisaWear products come in a variety of forms (e.g. necklaces, keychains, bracelets) that, when activated, can send your location to your loved ones and 9-1-1 even if you don’t know where you are or can’t speak. There is also a feature that can enable the contact 9-1-1 feature to have ADT notify emergency services on your behalf.
invisaWear aims to positively empower users in feeling safe, secure, and connected. They believe that everyone deserves to feel safe and hope that their products will give users some much needed peace of mind.
invisaWear’s CEO, Rajia Abdelaziz is a UMass Lowell alumnus who developed the idea and product while a student in the DifferenceMaker program.
